About Esportz
Welcome to Esportz, your premier destination for news, analysis, and community coverage of the exciting world of RCBG.
Our Background
Esportz resurrects the once-defunct Sportz! Magazine in a cyber-hip, online new form.
And boy, we've come a long way! Back in the 1980s, Ace Canadian Pitcher Dave Stieb invested a small seed fund to my father, who founded Sportz! Magazine. Fast forward to the halcyon 2010s, and Sportz!' pivot to video failed, bringing an ignominious end to my family's tenure at the helm.
Since then many Sportz! alumni have worked within other fields, from sports PR, to sports journalism, to having a rich inner life, but nothing really satisfies like the smell of the grass or the crack of the bat.
Our Mission
We aim to bring the thrilling world of competitive gaming to a wider audience, with an emphasis on what our analysts tell us is the hottest new league in town, RCBG. Now as editor-in-chief of Esport!, I am not familiar with RCBG, but I believe that the sports enthusiast press should go where the fans are, especially on the new frontiers of sport.
According to the egg-heads and four-eyeses in the back office, RCBG has the highest CAR (clicks above replacement) of any contemporary e-sports league within the coveted 18-34 demographic.
In any case, online or off, sport is sport, and we're here to bring our seasoned knowledge, honed in the world of legacy sport, to new vistas.
We here at Esportz! hope two things:
- First and foremost, to resurrect the legacy of Sportz! magazine, piggybacking off of what is by all accounts the most intense sports fandom since "Hat girls for Dave Wottle (circa 1972)."
- At a close second, we hope to help their dads understand the fascinating new frontiers of contemporary sport, whatever those turn out to be.
What We Will Cover
- Analysis: Deep dives into strategy, tactics, and meta developments
- Competition: Live updates, results, and recaps from major RCBG events. Are they, what, matches? Do they play tournaments? Those.
- Player Profiles: Interviews and stories about the stars of competitive breast growth.
- Community Spotlight: Fan content, local events, and grassroots initiatives.

The nerds tell us that Esportz Blog is implemented in lisette, because it is a transpiled language and we here at Esportz are #allies. And that it is deployed on Digital Ocean because they are one of the least obnoxious cloud providers. One way you can help is by programming in lisette and filing bug reports on the compiler for genuine bugs, as it's a new language with some rough edges still.
Stay tuned for regular updates and join us in celebrating this exciting new frontier of the wide world of sport(z)!
